Hello Everybody,
My name is Cole DeWispelare (last name is hard to say). First time having my own blog and it’s for school, awesome. On a serious note I am looking forward to using this blog to convey my thoughts on local theaters here in Omaha, like Aksarben off of 72nd and West Center or the Dundee Theater (somewhere in the Dundee area). I hope my readers enjoy my material and I can’t wait to start blogging!

Hey Cole, I like your blog and the theme you got going on is cool! Also, nice page caption! I think your idea for your story beat is a really interesting idea. You could definitely get some pretty cool stories from local theaters. I think it would be really cool for one your stories to kind of show what goes on “behind the scenes” of a movie theater. I’ve always wondered what else goes on at theaters like the projection rooms, how they get a hold of the movies they show, and how they decide on movies to show. I would also recommend talking to someone at the Dundee theater since it’s a cool part of Omaha history.

Hello Cole! I really like your story beat, I am doing a similar one myself. I’d suggest talking to someone from FilmStreams. Which is an indie theater in Omaha that promotes the discussion of film as a art form. I think there will be lots of good stuff there. Good luck!

I think this is really neat, I am always looking for new places to go.
You should definitely think about adding in like Blue Barn Theatre, The Rose theatre, orpheum and The Omaha play house theatre. Along with there are some other actual movie theaters like Film Streams, midtown crossing, etc.
